Senior Management Team

Mrs J Evans - Headteacher

Mrs Evans was appointed as Headteacher of Warley Primary in 2015, having previously worked as Deputy Headteacher within the school since 2007. Prior to this, Mrs Evans has taught in schools in Havering. 

Miss S Sharp - Deputy Headteacher and KS1 Leader 

Miss Sharp was appointed as Deputy Headteacher in October 2020 but has taught at the school since 2011.  She is an experienced teacher and has taught in years 5, 6, 1 and 2. Miss Sharp is our Maths Leader and also has specific responsibility for GDPR and Network Management. 

Mrs L Cook -  Assistant Headteacher and KS2 Leader

Mrs Cook joined the school in 2011 and is an experienced teacher having taught in Norfolk prior to moving to Essex  She was appointed as Assistant Head in 2015.  Mrs Cook has taught across a number of year groups.  Mrs Cook is part of the Maths leader team and has specific responsibility for Assessment and HR.

Mrs S Phillips - Assistant Headteacher, SENCo and Director of EYFS

Mrs Phillips began working at Warley Primary School in 1998.  Mrs Phillips is responsible for the Early Years Foundation Stage and is also the SENCo, overseeing the school provision for children with SEN.  Mrs Phillips is a fully qualified SENCo after undertaking the National Award for SEN coordination. 

Mrs J Anderson - School Business Manager

Mrs Anderson is an experienced Business Manager, who joined the school in June 2024. She has worked in a number of schools across Essex.  Mrs. Anderson manages the administration and site teams at Warley.

Miss H Carrington - SEND Teacher (3 days) & Assistant SENCo

Miss Carrington is the teacher in our SEN class and joined the school in September 2016.  Having lived locally all her life, Miss Carrington is a former pupil of Warley Primary.  Miss Carrington is our Science Leader. and works closely alongside Mrs Phillips, as our Assistant SENCo.

Class Teachers

Mrs K Smith - Reception Class Teacher 
Mrs Smith has worked at Warley Primary for a number of years. She is our EYFS and Year 1 Leader, due to her vast experience of working in the Early years and KS1, supporting children with developing their early reading using Phonics. She is also currently the school's Computing Coordinator.

Miss A Envill - Reception Class Teacher

Miss Envill joined the school eight years ago as a volunteer. Since then, she has completed her teacher training and is in her sixth year of teaching. Miss Envill is part of our English team, overseeing KS1 Writing. 

Miss H Sudbury - Year 1 Class Teacher
Miss Sudbury studied for her degree at the University of Brighton and has taught both in EYFS and KS1. Miss Sudbury is currently our Art co-ordinator. 

Miss P Russell - Year 1 Class Teacher 

Miss Russell joined Warley in September 2019.  She has experience of teaching in Early Years, KS1 and also KS2 and is the school's Phonics Leader. 

Mr T Fulk - Year 2 Class Teacher 

Mr Fulk worked as a qualified Cricket coach, prior to becoming a Primary School teacher. Due to his passion for sport, he currently leads PE across the school and has taught across all key stages.

Mrs A Milliken - Year 2 Class Teacher (3 days per week)

Mrs Milliken joined the Warley team in 2024.  She has taught in numerous schools across Essex and is leading PE, alongside Mr. Fulk. 

Miss C Leon - Year 2 Class Teacher (2 days per week)

Miss Leon joined us in September 2026. She has taught in schools across both Essex and London, in both key stages. She has a particular passion for English and has recently joined the English Team.

Mrs P Wagner - Year 3 Class Teacher (3 days per week)

Mrs Wagner is an experienced teacher, having taught in a number of local Essex schools. She joined the school in September 2022 and has a passion for History, coordinating the subject across the school. 

Miss G Cousins - Year 3 Class Teacher (2 days per week)

Miss Cousins joined the Warley team a few years ago, having spent several years teaching at another local school. She is currently leading ESR and RSHE, alongside Miss Nicholas.

Miss H Guy - Year 3 Class Teacher 

Miss Guy joined the school in 2024, having taught at local Essex schools. She co-ordinates Geography across the school. 

Mrs H Collins - Year 4 Class Teacher (2 days per week)

Mrs Collins joined the school in September 2021 and has experience of teaching across KS2. She is responsible for leading the 'Love of Reading' across the school and is part of the English Leader Team. 

Mrs C Hague - Year 4 Class Teacher (3 days per week)

Mrs Hague moved to Warley Primary in September 2023, having taught for many years at a school in Grays. She leads DT in the school and is in charge of running the School Council.

Mrs K Carter - Year 4 Class Teacher

Mrs Carter started working at Warley Primary School in 2023, having taught in a local Essex school. She leads RE across the school. 

Miss J Marshall - Year 5 Class Teacher

Miss Marshall joined Warley in September 2024. She is a highly accomplished musician playing the piano, saxophone and clarinet and through her teacher training has experience of teaching a number of year groups. She is our Music lead in the school. 

Mr A Sears - Year 5 Class Teacher

Mr Sears joined the school last year, having taught in Havering for a number of years. He is a qualified tennis coach and has just taken over as Spanish Leader at Warley. 

Miss T Nicholas - Year 6 Class Teacher (2 days per week)

Miss Nicholas joined Warley in September 2023. She has experience of teaching in a number of schools across Essex and is leading ESR and RSHE, alongside Miss Cousins. 

Mrs E Holtom - Year 6 Class Teacher (3 days per week)

Mrs Holtom has worked at the school for a number of years and has previously taught in all Key stages across the school. Mrs Holtom is responsible for coordinating English.

Mr C Heminway - Year 6 Class Teacher

Mr Heminway joined the school last year and has recently joined the Maths team, to help co-ordinate the subject across the school. Mr. Heminway is a former pupil of KEGS and has a degree in History.

Miss H Carrington - SEND Teacher & Assistant SENCo

Miss Carrington is the teacher in our SEN class and joined the school in September 2016.  Having lived locally all her life, Miss Carrington is a former pupil of Warley Primary.  Miss Carrington is our Science Leader. and works closely alongside Mrs Phillips, as our Assistant SENCo.

Mr K Lamont - Sports Coach

Mr Lamont is a specialist sports coach who teaches PE to all children across the school.  He has been working at Warley Primary School since 2003. Mr Lamont coaches a range of sports including: Football, Cricket, Basketball, Tennis and Rounders.
